The 12th China Food Festival (Hangzhou), which was organized by the governments of Hangzhou and Changshan county in Quzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province, took place on Aug 17.

Hangzhou was assigned as the partner of Changshan county as part of Zhejiang’s “mountain and sea” cooperation program, which aims to support the development of the province’s mountainous and seaside areas.

Hangzhou currently has more than 300 restaurants that were set up by people from Changshan, and more than 10,000 Changshan people are working in the city’s catering industry.

The food festival aims to showcase local specialties and delicacies from Hangzhou and Changshan as this year marks the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the cooperation program.

Changshan has long been known as the “birthplace of oil-tea in China”. The county has been planting oil-tea trees for about 2,000 years and it currently has 18,667 hectares of oil-tea plantations. In 2021, the county generated 7,500 tons of oil-tea seeds that were worth 1 billion yuan ($146.2 million) in revenue.

Hangzhou Oxygen Plant Group Co., ltd. (HangYang), established in 1950, supplies the world-class Air Separation Unit（ASU） and cryogenic petrochemical equipment,. HangYang is the pioneer and the leader of Chinese cryogenic industry.

Competing with international rivals like Linde, Air Liquide and AirProduct on Chinese market, HangYang enjoys a dominating market share of 60% on large-scale ASU. For Shenhua Ningmei 100,000 ASU project, HangYang and Linde “compete on the same stage”, and the two series run as equivalent, which attest that the technology of Hangyang has reached the world’s top level.

On the other hand, HangYang’s cryogenic petrochemical products such as ethylene cold box have a leading advantage in the domestic market, and the successful operation in the project of “R&D and industrial application of complete sets of ethylene with complex raw materials” is another milestone for Hangyang’s independent research and development of petrochemical process packages.

In the project of the world’s largest green petrochemical refining and chemical integration base in Zhoushan Archipelago, Zhejiang, 4 sets of 100,000-level cold box ASU(single set weight up to 1300T) developed by Hangyang have been successfully operated. The whole packaged is intricacy and complex, and the requirements for stress calculation and simulation are extremely accurate. HangYang adopts the most advanced design scheme, and at the same time, through the comprehensive extension of design, technology, manufacturing, transportation, quality control and safety management, HangYang strictly implement high-quality projects, which not only ensures the smooth operation of the equipment, but also opens up new path for large-scale ASU manufacturing projects.

Yesterday morning, Hangzhou Medical Security Bureau made an introduction of the maternity insurance policy that has been improved in all respects and has been implemented since July 1.

Firstly, flexible employment personnel are included in the coverage of Hangzhou Maternity Insurance for the first time. Flexible employment personnel who have meet the conditions for applying maternity allowance will receive an allowance calculated based on the following formula: Hangzhou’s monthly payment base for flexible employment personnel in the year prior to the birth of the child ÷ 30 x the number of days of statutory maternity leave enjoyed by the female employee who have given the birth.

Secondly, the waiting time for enjoying maternity insurance benefits is cut short. The policy clarifies that the starting time for enjoying the maternity insurance benefits is the same as that for enjoying the employee medical insurance.

Thirdly, three additional diagnosis and treatment items, namely, labor analgesia, ultrasound screening of fetal structure in early pregnancy and systematic CDU of fetus, are within the coverage of Hangzhou Medical Insurance.

Fourthly, the medical expenses of the insured female employees giving birth to a third child are within the coverage of maternity insurance, and the maternity medical expenses and maternity allowances shall be paid in lump sum and in time according to regulations.

Fifthly, the time for applying for the maternity allowance has been optimized. According to the policy, the time for applying the maternity allowance (including family planning allowance) is from the date of the birth of the child to the end of the following year. The allowance will be paid in lump sum or be paid in advance, with the balance to be paid later (or to be refunded in case of over-payment).
